Playboy's Playmate of the Month in September, 2000
Fare, whose real name is Keri Furman Mendoza, found herself in the news in 2004 during the trial of Justin Helzer, one of the conspirators in a quintuple murder which claimed the life of the daughter of blues guitarist Elvin Bishop. Fare had dated one of the other conspirators, Helzer's older brother Glenn, who had convinced her to get the breast implants that eventually landed her a spread in Playboy magazine
